Day 4,192
It’s parole day at the hospital today. Mom and baby will be coming home, either before or after a whole bunch of family from my side.
Expect a slew of pictures before the day is up.
The RNC is coming to town
The streets into downtown St. Paul are being closed one by one as the RNC gets closer and closer. Good thing we get out tomorrow as I think the whole street will be shut down come Monday.
Baby had a very good night. All tests continue to be positive.
End of day two
Ben and mom are doing just fine. She’s up and about a little and he’s come through two tough tests and found his appetite. We are blessed.

Left, left, right, right, right
We leave for the hospital at 12:45.
No Water for You
Clear liquids are now forbidden also.
No Soup For You
Sara’s pre-C fast has begun.
Big sister
Linnea opened her “big sister” t-shirt a little while ago. I told her that tonight would be the last night of being an only child.
Tomorrow is a big day for everyone.
No Gnus is Good Gnus
24 hours to go and we still have no news.
This is good news, of course. We’re hoping for nothing, prepared for something, but don’t want just anything. Nothing, until tomorrow, where it’ll be a big something, but not just any something. Nothing to it.
Sara spoke to the hospital this morning and have finalized the check-in plans and packed her bags. Until then, she continues to work. I am...
